Get ready for a splurge. This tour is for wine nerds as well as for lovers of all things beautiful. And delicious. Michael Bigattini and Linda Tamm have choreographed visits to famous  destinations across the south of France. We'll meet in Toulouse and settle at the shimmering estate of Gérard Bertrand overlooking the Mediterranean. Explore the Carcassonne and Languedoc regions  with a highlight visiting the home of Clos du Temple Rosé, that many consider the finest rosé in the world.  

Continue our adventure with a journey as special as the destination. We'll travel along the coast to historic Châteauneuf-du-Pape and the Rhône wine region. Along the way we'll visit the famed delta region known at the Camarque. Think black bulls and white horses. Then our ultimate pilgrimage takes us to Tain-l'Hermitage and some of the most loved, iconic wineries such as Maison M. Chapoutier and Paul Jaboulet Âiné.  Crozes-Hermitage has so much to offer. It will be a delight to show you some of the gems of the region. The denouement in Lyon will bring this fabulous week to a close. 

And ... should you still long for some over-the-top wine decadence, we've coordinated our trip to conclude so that you can jump right in with Peggy and Brien Perry's Beaune tour beginning on October 6th. So sumptuous!

Wines from Burgundy are some of the most sought after in the world. This will be a deep dive into the great wines of Burgundy with visits to a full range of estates from the most famous to rising stars that offer amazing value. 

Visit the ancient cellars of Drouhin, hear the fascinating stories that this family has to share, and taste their exceptional wines. You may wish to read “Wine and War” to learn some of the fascinating history of Maurice Drouhin, the grandfather of the current generation running the winery.

The week will be filled with visits to other Burgundy wineries, spending time in the famous villages of Meursault, Puligny Montrachet, Nuits-Saint-Georges, Aloxe Corton and others. 

Beaune itself is a beautiful village and a walking tour with a visit to the famed Hospice de Beaune is a must. Market Day in Beaune is Saturday in the Place Carnot. Shop for heritage linens or antique silverware. Or just people watch, which is always a fun way to pass the time in France.

All around you are stunning views and one of our favourites is from De Grendel. Match superb food and wine (we just looove their bubble) with the picture perfect Table Mountain backdrop.  Count on a fascinating farm explore on this historic property. 

Then up, up, up to Capensis. We are inclined to agree that their Chardonnay could be the best we've ever had. And the mountainside setting takes your breath away.

Our bespoke tour begins in Aberdeen and is centered on the most iconic of all whisky celebrations, The Spirit of Speyside in Elgin and environs.  This festival begins with a ceilidh, so get ready for some toe tapping fun. With over 50 distilleries in the district, you'll have a chance to sample drams to your heart's content. But it is our close connections with distilleries and distillers that will help elevate this intimate experience.   

We will be ensconced at the beautiful Dowans Hotel, the luxurious yet intimate family run hotel in Charlestown of Aberlour. 

Prepare to be fully immersed in the layered experience of the history, distilleries and interesting characters that contribute to the unique whiskies of the Highlands.  Return to Aberdeen fulfilled, or continue your own explorations.

 The town of Tequila has been the home of Blue Agave and Tequila crafting for generations. It is quickly changing to a sophisticated destination in the beautiful sierra northwest of Guadalajara.  The showpiece Casa Salles Hotel is an oasis in the midst of this charming Mexican hill town. Tequila is for aficionado style sipping and for fun n crazy cocktails. You'll try plenty of both.
